There had been a volcano eruption and then a heavy snow covered the mountain that had erupted. It wasn't an exposive eruption, just a flow of lava coming out that had burned down all the trees and greenery on the mountain. I wanted to see what it looked like up there so I climbed the mountain. I found that the heavy snow had covered the lava completely and froze it before it could come down the rest of the mountain so just the peak was damaged. I put my hand in the snow and discovered it was warm underneath the snow. I brushed away some snow and could see the glowing red of the lava. It wasn't hot, it didn't hurt, just a warm goo kind of under the snow. I looked around and in the thick white snow and gray sky, I could see the red orange glowing embers on the trees that were scorched before the snow had started. They were tall and had no leaves obviously, but they glowed against the snow and gray sky like flames. I ran around the mountain peak and every step I took, the snow melted a bit and shifted down the mountain. I was so amazed that the heavy snow was able to stop the damage of the lava before it reached civilization. I felt so happy and in awe of nature's destruction but also its safety measure to protect itself since the snow came out of no where in the middle of summer. I had to call my friend Mesa and tell her what I had seen, I was describing everything I saw to her and then I woke up.
